Biography

She completed her schooling from South Point High School and subsequently enrolled for her graduation at Lady Brabourne College. She completed her post-graduation with a first class from University of Calcutta and proceeded to Jawaharlal Nehru University for her M.Phil and Phd degrees where she worked on the theme of Partition migration. After returning to Kolkata, she was engaged as a post-doctoral fellow at the Rabindranath Tagore Centre for Human Development Studies under the University of Calcutta.
